Dwarven Relic

Once I saw this concept I couldn't not make this... I mean, I had to keep this project a work lunchtime thing JUST so it didn't infringe on projects at home. I would turn up to work early, or go home late.. just to do an extra hour on this. Super fun. I have no life. I think because it is so different from what I normally produce it was a breath of fresh air... sorry about the gradient banding and video compression :\

In case you can't work out  where the textures are referenced, i had the bright idea of colour coding it...

Again, bunch of transform nodes.. which is ok if you don't want to expose any procedural parameters. I think I made 12 of these or some overkill number, 4 would have done.

And in order to not feel like that was a waste of time, i made this rather uninspiring gif of how I was randomising the central emblem silhouette based on the 12 input patterns.
